Chloe and Zoe are a part of That1Thing’s movement and were challenged to think of 1Thing they could do to change a life. After noticing that all kids are not fortunate enough to have backpacks or school supplies, they said “Wouldn’t it be cool if we could give kids backpacks and school supplies?” That1Thing can make a world of difference in a child’s life. So The Power Of 1 Backpack™ was born.

You will be amazed at The Power Of 1. Join Chloe and Zoe this summer as they work to provide backpacks for school supplies to be given to children in need. These young enthusiasts understand that, “Every Life Needs Another Life.” Chloe and Zoe are passionate about the lives of others and grateful to be able to share Their1Thing. They want to share backpacks with children around the world; but in an effort to do so, they need you. On August 11th they will be providing backpacks for a back to school event in association with Arborlawn United Methodist Church and Kids Hope USA. Kids in the Dallas-Fort Worth area will receive backpacks, school supplies, and uniforms.

Know that when you purchase one $15 backpack you will be:

1. Providing 4 children with a backpack filled with school supplies along with much needed uniforms.
2. Giving 16 healthy meals to a child through our partnership with the Tarrant area food banks backpack for kids program.

We all love the children in our community and want them to behave, remain focused, and learn every day at school. In order to do this, there are two important necessities to remember: healthy meals, and the proper school supplies. The Power of 1 Backpack program was designed to aid those in need of these vital requirements. Children without the required supplies on day one of the school year may fall behind from the very beginning. We also know that children who eat breakfast perform better in the classroom. Every kid has That1Thing within them, their purpose. Let’s work together to get them one step closer to That1Thing.
